The Al-Muhajiroun Fraud:
Exposing the Menace Those who are familiar with the foster-brother of Hizb ut-Tahrir, al-Muhajiroun, "the eyes and ears" of the Grand Charlatan known as Omar Bakri (who has been exposed numerous times in the past) and those who have studied their movement, will immediately see the current fraud being perpetrated by them. The current media limelight being stolen by them is merely an attempt to gain much wider publicity amongst ordinary Muslims, whom they have found difficult to win over with their methods of organised localised recruitment, by coercive, brainwashing techniques.
The members of Al-Muhajiroun and Hizb ut-Tahrir know only full well - as well as the learned Muslims who are aware of the ideology of this cult - that it is forbidden for them to engage in Jihad in the absence of a Khilaafah, according to their own doctrine. Jihad is not sanctioned by their movement, just as many of the other acts of worship are not sanctioned - according to their ideology - except in the presence of a Khilaafah.
Perceptive observers of the media will have noticed that the few upstarts who have been interviewed have stated exactly just that, but in their own diplomatic way - which is to say that "if anybody wants to go on Jihad, then it is our duty to provide them the means". Note, that they themselves do not participate in Jihad or actively call for the participation in Jihad - as that is not sanctioned by their methodology. The vast majority of their followers are wholly ignorant of the religion of Islam, but are keen-eyed with all things political and the analysis of current events - as that is the only subject of their gatherings and meetings. They have missed the true spirit and essence of Islam embodied in the solid foundation of Tawhid (monotheism), sound Islamic belief, and the noble character and dignified personality that the way of Islam helps to bring about. Partisanship and brainwashing with the books of the movement and its figureheads are also integral to this cult and its proliferation.
Hence, what is observed from them in these days, and the media focus upon them, is merely a fraud and an attempt to monopolise on the media coverage they are inviting - in order to recruit more Muslims into their cultist movement. Learned Muslims will also be aware that al-Muhajiroun and Hizb ut-Tahrir do not represent Orthodox Sunni Muslims or the pure Islam in the least, but rather the doctrines of the Mu'tazilah - an astray sect of the past. As Shaikh al-Albaani noted about them, "they are the Mu'tazilah of our times". The Mu'tazilah hold onto heretical notions concerning Allaah, as well as rejecting the vast body of Prophetic Sayings, by innovated principles. In essence, they reject a fair part of the Orthodox Muslim theology, and find solace in an ideology in which the intellect receives an exaggerated role, above and beyond the Qur'an and the Sunnah.
In reality, they have no actual concern with the noble beliefs and teachings of Islaam, they by-pass all of that, and instead proclaim that the biggest obligation is to establish the Khilaafah and that if you do not work towards this goal - with them and as part of their political party - you are in fact a pagan - as has been stated by some of their ignorant, extreme and foolish ones, and an extreme sinner, as opined by the less fanatical ones amongst them.
Most of what is observed from them (i.e. al-Muhajiroun and Hizb ut-Tahrir) is fruitless debate and senseless agitation. The essence of their innovated and heretical method is an approach divided into three phases a) educating the people about the obligation of the Khilaafah, at the ground roots level, which is known as the ideological stage b) once sufficient numbers have been gained, to then go into the public arena and cause agitation and confrontation and c) the final physical revolution which results in the toppling of the government and establishment of their Khilaafah.
As such, they have marred the beauty of Islaam and frightened the people away from its innocence, and simplicity. Instead of inviting the people to it by good behavior, gentleness and kindness, good argumentation and the use of wisdom, and informing the people of what Islam invites to of lofty character, noble mannerisms and the likes - all of which is manifest in the Qur'an and in the Prophet's model, the Sunnah, their deviant methods and astray notions make them mere pawns in the media game that only serves to whip up negative sentiments about the Muslims and to cause more harm to them in the long term - in the midst of a nation that is generally ignorant of Islaam and whose only knowledge of it is what has been inherited by them from the lies and polemics of the Church during the dark, medieval ages of Europe and the era of the Crusades.
Hence, we caution all Muslims to be aware that Hizb ut-Tahrir and al-Muhajiroun are astray groups who have no concern with the actual beliefs and teachings of Islaam, but are purely political organisations whose field of activity is the political realm alone, and of the Islamic creed and methodology they are far and remote. They use agressive recruitment methods and prey upon the ignorance of unsuspecting Muslims. By alluding to the sufferings of the Muslims everywhere in the world, they are able to win the sentiments of unsuspecting Muslims and draw them into what is a false, innovated ideology, one that is alien to the way of the Prophets in calling to Islaam, and which actually does anything but teach what Islam requires of knowledge and action. This also explains why most of the individuals involved with this cult are devoid of any Islamic personality and are characterised by brashness, hot-headedness and untoward feisty-behaviour. This is the result of ignorance!
